  1. Gonadotrophin Releasing Effects of GnRH
  2.
  3. Through secondary effects of pituitary activation, and under appropriately defined conditions, GnRH can induce spermatogenesis and testosterone production in men with hypothalamic hypogonadotrophic hypogonadism, and ovulation in women with hypothalamic amenorrhoea.
  4. Most reproductive neuroendocrinologists now believe that the GnRH decapeptide is the only hypothalamic gonadotrophin regulator and that observed dissociations of secretion of LH and FSH are due to the interacting effects of prior hormone status, steroid pre treatment and patterns of GnRH administration.
